Shipping Costs and Methods

Orders totaling $75.00 and over, for delivery within the 48 contiguous United States, will receive an option for our “FREE Shipping Offer*”. The “Free Shipping Offer” is for “Ground” delivery service only and is calculated on the product price total (excluding Gift Certificate amounts) and does not include any applicable sales tax. It is the customer’s responsibility to select the “Free Shipping Offer” option at checkout or to ask for it on phone orders. Orders that qualify for our “Free Shipping Offer” do not automatically default to the “Free Shipping Offer” option. Some oversized or overweight items may not qualify for our “Free Shipping Offer” or will require an additional freight charge that is noted on the product description page.

Orders under $75.00 or your choice of Express services are priced based on shipping weight, product dimensions and your delivery zip code. Shipping charges that are computed during checkout are estimates, and are subject to correction.

Standard Ground: Residential: Tuesday – Saturday from 9am to 8pm
Business: Monday – Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
Two-Day Express: Monday – Friday by 4:30pm (or 7pm to residences)
One-Day Express: Monday – Friday by 10:30am (by 4:30 to remote areas)
USPS Priority Mail: Monday – Saturday (United States Postal Service)
Notes: Please add one business day to all delivery times to process your order.
One-Day Express orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Monday.
Two-Day Express orders shipped on Thursday will be delivered on Monday,
and orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
USPS tracking provides pickup and delivery confirmation only.
Service to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada are subject to longer delivery times.
Service to Canada is subject to Canadian Customs delays.

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on CozyWinters.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available. Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order.

At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). (Please note, some items may offer only one shipping method.) Shipping costs are dependent on the items in your order, the geographic shipping location, and the shipping method you select. Shipping charges that are computed during checkout are estimates, and are subject to correction.

Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the product dimension and the weight of the total order. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount and therefore your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual ship charges for an individual item. You will be provided with the estimated shipping cost for your order during Checkout.

Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery in the Checkout process.

Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday – Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

We maintain inventory on most products but due to the number of items, volatility of demand and vendor production schedules it is impossible for us to guarantee that we will have each and every individual item in stock when an order is received. Orders for in stock items are processed on a “first come, first served basis” based upon the date and time received.

For in stock items we normally ship orders paid for by credit card on the business day they are received; weekend orders for in stock items received from noon Pacific time on Friday through noon Pacific time on Monday normally ship on Tuesday. Orders paid for by check normally ship after we allow a seven business day bank clearing time. We will notify you promptly by email if we will be unable to meet these objectives. For purposes of compliance with the FTC “Mail and Telephone Order Merchandise Rule” our stated shipment policy is that we will ship all orders within 30 days of receipt of payment and complete destination shipping information.

You will not be charged for any item until it begins the shipping process.

* Please note that although we offer “free shipping” on most orders over $75, it is not actually free for us to ship. Customer choice returns will have initial actual shipping costs/fees deducted from any return that originally received our “Free Shipping Offer”. By selecting the “Free Shipping Offer” shipping option or requesting it, the consumer is agreeing to the terms of this offer.

 


Shipping Refunds

CozyWinters will honor Express shipping refunds due to service failure on the part of FedEx Express, only when FedEx honors their “Money Back Guarantee” due to shipments that are delivered beyond the expected delivery date set by FedEx at the time of shipment. The “Free Shipping Offer” option does not qualify for a shipping refund.

CozyWinters will deduct the actual shipping and handling costs from any return that originally received our “Free Shipping Offer”.

The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges on refused orders, with the exception of damaged shipments. (This includes both the outbound and return shipping and handling charges.)
